Pascal Proyart, the Executive Chef of award-winning seafood restaurant One-O-One, has created a special dish to mark the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Launching on 21st April - Her Majesty’s actual birthday - the ‘King Crab Royale’ will be available to diners until 18th June, coinciding with the end of the Queen’s official birthday celebrations.
The dish will be crafted using gold leaf, wild garlic, caviar, quail’s eggs, British asparagus, rhubarb and lemon to complement the Norwegian Royal King Crab. Beautifully presented in the shape of a crown, with flashes of gold, it will be priced at £21 and is the perfect way for Royalists, foodies and Londoners to celebrate the landmark birthday of the UK’s longest reigning monarch.
Chef Pascal is widely credited with introducing King Crab to the United Kingdom and is passionate about bringing sustainable, inventive fish dishes to diners at One-O-One. His menu boasts an array of fresh fish and meat dishes such as White Halibut and Abalone, King Crab Risotto, and a show-stopping Surf & Turf dish featuring lobster, King Crab and beef fillet.
Located within the five-star The Park Tower Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel®, One-O-One is renowned as one of London’s finest seafood dining rooms.
