Merrett, Needham And Wainwright Join Mustard For Sunday Roast Series

This Summer, Mustard, the local British brasserie in Brook Green, will celebrate the best of West London with a series of Sunday Roast takeovers.
Co-owner Lawrence Hartley and Head Chef Jamie Russell have invited three of their favourite chefs and restaurants from West London into the kitchen to share their favourite roast with; Paul Merrett, the Saturday Kitchen regular who owns The Victoria in Sheen, Andy Needham, Chef Patron of L’Amorosa in Ravenscourt Park and Marc Wainwright, Head Chef at Le Vacherin in Chiswick.
Kicking off on the 14th May, Marc Wainwright will celebrate the last of spring with Roast Leg of Lamb, a firm favourite of his family’s traditional Sunday Roasts. Accompanying the main event will be duck fat roast potatoes, stem broccoli, glazed carrots, Yorkshire puddings and homemade mint sauce, with Apple Crumble and clotted cream for dessert.
On the 25th June, Andy Needham will reminisce over his childhood growing up in Yorkshire with Mustard Glazed Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, served with all the trimmings; roast potatoes, sugar snap peas, thyme roasted carrots, gravy and horseradish.
Further nostalgia will be plated up in the form of Bread & Butter Pudding with aged balsamic strawberries for dessert.
Rounding off the celebration of West London talent on the 9th July, Paul Merrett will cook a summer roast with Peppered Chicken, chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables, summer greens, roasted charlotte potatoes and the staple to any roast, Yorkshire Puddings, with Custard Tart and raspberry sorbet for something sweet.
Tickets for Mustard’s West London Sunday Roast Love-In will be £25 to include a welcome cocktail, the roast and dessert, with children’s portions also available (please specify upon booking). Bookings will be taken from 1:30pm through email@example.com
