Michelin starred chef creations at my local sushi shop …chop chop !
This year the new dishes have been created in collaboration with Kei Kobayashi of restaurant fame “Kei”, his own restaurant in Paris has beeb awarded a star, and the new dishes focus on the core of sushi shop history a fusion of French and Japanese cultures.
Having just returned from a week's holiday in Paris. where sushi shop is in full force, I pop along to my local Marylebone branch to see chef Pierre Boudy at work demonstrating a couple of the new dishes from the #newmenu2017
It was fascinating to see the amount of skill and precision involved.
My favourites the Gyu special roll tastes as good as it looks and the red miso cucumber salad was simple and refreshing, in fact there's a lot of fresh vegetables packed into their sushi on trend with the london eating scene.
What separates Sushi Shop from the others is the unique fusion of flavours for everyday meals freshly made to order, which may take a little extra time for today's definition of fast food but worth the wait.
Sushi shop also delivers, great for entertaining because the beautiful packaging is an added bonus and I'm a sucker for pretty boxes.
