What better way to wow friends and family than with a simple yet unique treat at the end of the meal.

Honey Roast Plums sprinkled with almonds and served with Speakeasy Cherry Brandy Ice Cream

This dessert is a modern take on the traditional roast plum pudding, the cherry brandy of the ice cream perfectly complementing the sweetness of the plum and honey.   

Method

Begin by halving the plums and removing the stone.

Place plums cut side up on a baking tray and drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chopped almonds.

Bake in an oven at 180º for around 15 to 20mins, drizzle more honey over the plums and return to the oven for a further 5 minutes.  

To serve simply place 2 halves of plum on a plate, sprinkle your chopped and slightly roasted almonds over the top along with some chopped glacier cherries, add a generous scoop of Speakeasy Cherry Brandy Ice Cream and devour!
