South London based Taiwanese restaurant, Mr Bao, has launched an all new Bottomless Brunch offering to hungry Londoners in Peckham on Rye Lane.
Building on the ever-growing success since their debut opening in February 2016, Mr Bao’s unique new offering is perfectly placed alongside their ongoing commitment to producing quality East Asian food using only the freshest daily ingredients sourced from local suppliers as well as specialist ingredients from Taiwan.
Available every Saturday & Sunday, 11am-4pm, Mr Bao will be taking those soft white ‘pillowy’ buns to another level. Served alongside their regular menu, diners can expect a creative Taiwanese-twist to one of the weekend’s greatest pleasures.
Bao Benedict (£5.90) - Slow Braised Flock + Herd Pork, Wilted Spinach, Free Range Egg, Hollandaise and Bao Bun; Mushrooms on Toasted Bao (V) (£5.50) - Oyster + Portobello Mushrooms on a Toasted Bao served with Wasabi Crème Fraîche; Taiwanese “Scotch” Egg (£4) - Soft Boiled Egg Wrapped in Taiwanese Spiced Sausage, covered in Crisp Noodles and The Full Taiwanese (£9.50) - Taiwanese Sausages, Spring Onion Pancake, Bao Bun, Soy Glazed Eggs, Asian Beans, Flock + Herd Smoked Bacon – to name a few.
For those sweet-toothed, Bao S'More (£4) - Fried Bao, Melted Chocolate, Toasted Marshmallows + Peanuts. Too good not to!
Wash it all down with your pick of Taiwanese-inspired cocktails or aged teas flown in from Taiwan. Priced from only £14 for the ‘Bottomless Hour’, choose from: White Night In Taipei bringing together Passionfruit Jam, Lychee, Lime and White Rum or the ultimate brunch accompaniment – Bloody Mary’s Hungover – served with Sparkling Sake, Vodka, Fresh Tomato Juice, Wasabi, Sriracha, Wasabi Salt.
