Launching on 21st January 2019 and just in time for Blue Monday, £0.25p of every Island Poké X Chotto Matte bowl (£8.95) will be donated to Mind mental health charity to support their #blueanyday campaign.
Island Poké have teamed up with renowned Japanese-Peruvian fusion bar, Chotto Matte, to create a bowl embracing the very best of Nikkei cuisine.
The duo are working together to help keep the January blues at bay with their chromatherapy inspired bowl, which has been created to help revitalise diners throughout the dreary winter months.
This bowl is an extension of Chotto Matte’s chromatherapy inspired menu, and features a spectrum of high-spirited colours relating to the body’s chakras.
With a shared history between Poke and Nikkei cuisine, both have benefited from a Japanese influence, resulting in a fresh and vibrant bowl of food.
Fresh Red Jalapeño Sea Bass Ceviche, Den Miso Padron Peppers, Yuzu Mayo, Burnt Corn Salsa, fresh Mango Salsa and Crispy Peruvian Corn Kernels.
Since launching in 2015, Island Poké now has six London outposts, while Chotto Matte is the home of Nikkei cuisine, serving Japanese-Peruvian influenced dishes, colourful cocktails and a lively atmosphere in the heart of Soho.
Nikkei cuisine is all about high-quality ingredients and flavours which can be seen in every dish whether ceviche or tempura, from the grill or the sushi counter.
Chotto Matte has a cocktail bar and lounge on the ground floor serving sake-based cocktails and pisco sours amongst others.
The Island Poké X Chotto Matte bowl will be available at all Island Poké sites.
