The makers of Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Ale have recently launched a range of non-alcoholic ginger drinks. And to show them off, Wayne Collins from BBC’s “Something for the Weekend” has created some spectacular cocktail recipes to help you really enjoy them.
JC Daisy – Gin Based
Glass: chilled coupette
Method: shake and strain
Ingredients:
20ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
5ml sugar syrup
35ml Dry Gin
15ml Raspberry Liqueur
Crabbies Dry Ginger Ale to fill
Garnish: mixed berries on a cocktail stick
Lucky Buck – Bourbon Based
Glass: Highball filled with ice
Method: shake and strain / top with Ginger Beer
Ingredients:
2 wedges fresh lime / crushed
10ml vanilla syrup
35ml Bourbon
15ml Green Apple Liqueur
Splash fresh pressed apple juice
Crabbies Dry Ginger Ale to fill
Garnish: fresh apple fan
Tricky Rickey – Rum Based
Glass: Highball filled with ice
Method: Build and Stir
Ingredients:
2 wedges fresh lime / squeezed
35ml Gold Rum
15ml Passion Fruit Liqueur
Crabbies Fiery Ginger Beer to fill
Garnish: Fresh passion fruit slice and mint sprig
Crabbies Ginger Smash – Cognac Based
Glass: Old Fashioned with Crushed Ice
Method: muddle shake and strain
Ingredients:
2 wedges fresh ripe peach
2 wedges fresh orange
35ml Cognac
15ml Crème de peach
6 fresh mint leaves
Crabbies Fiery Ginger Beer to fill
Garnish: peach wedge and mint sprig
Cloudy Blossom – Vodka Based
Glass: highball with ice
Method: build over ice
Ingredients:
1 x wedge fresh lime and Lemon
35ml Orange Vodka
15ml elderflower liqueur
Crabbies Traditional Cloudy Ginger Beer
Garnish: Lemon, lime wedge / mint sprig
Skinny Fizz
Glass: Highball filled with ice
