On the 10th of December, the Bluebird Cafe on the King’s Road is holding a Christmassy event to launch their new winter ski chalet on the forecourt. There will be carol singers and plenty of Gløgg and mince pies to keep everyone warm!

Throughout the festive season the log chalet at Bluebird will be serving a variety of sweet and savoury fondues for four, which are perfect for groups and winter parties. There’s the cheese: emmental, gruyere cheese,nutmeg , crispy rye, garlic baked croutons for £28. The meat :champagne, emmental, gruyere, crispy rye, medium rare rump steak, garlic croutons, roast parsnips, honey mustard roast carrots for £50.00, and the chocolate valhrona and grand marnier, clementine segments, marshmallows, chocolate short bread, strawberries for £30.00

There will also be a range of Smirnoff Black cocktails for the party season. If the Gløgg and mince pies aren’t enough to keep you warm, all guests who come along on the 10th will receive 20% off in the Bluebird Cafe so you can enjoy a warming dinner afterwards from Head Chef Matthew Burgess with classic British dishes such as smoked haddock rarebit and Farmer Sharp’s country pie.

This is also a chance to buy last minute christmas presents at the food store and wine cellar; fondue sets are available to buy
and the famous christmas hampers can be designed to suit your requirements.
