South London based Taiwanese restaurant, Mr Bao, has launched an all new Bottomless Brunch offering to hungry Londoners in Peckham on Rye Lane.
Available every Saturday & Sunday, 11am-4pm, Mr Bao will be taking those soft white’pillowy’ buns to another level. Served alongside their regular menu, diners can expect a creative Taiwanese-twist to one of the weekend’s greatest pleasures.
Bao Benedict (£5.90) – Slow Braised Flock + Herd Pork, Wilted Spinach, Free Range Egg, Hollandaise and Bao Bun; Mushrooms on Toasted Bao (V) (£5.50) – Oyster + Portobello Mushrooms on a Toasted Bao served with Wasabi Crème Fraîche; Taiwanese “Scotch†Egg (£4) – Soft Boiled Egg Wrapped in Taiwanese Spiced Sausage, covered in Crisp Noodles and The Full Taiwanese (£9.50) – Taiwanese Sausages, Spring Onion Pancake, Bao Bun, Soy Glazed Eggs, Asian Beans, Flock + Herd Smoked Bacon – to name a few.
For those sweet-toothed, Bao S’More (£4) – Fried Bao, Melted Chocolate, Toasted Marshmallows + Peanuts. Too good not to!
Wash it all down with your pick of Taiwanese-inspired cocktails or aged teas flown in from Taiwan. Priced from only £14 for the’Bottomless Hour’, choose from: White Night In Taipei bringing together Passionfruit Jam, Lychee, Lime and White Rum or the ultimate brunch accompaniment – Bloody Mary’s Hungover – served with Sparkling Sake, Vodka, Fresh Tomato Juice, Wasabi, Sriracha, Wasabi Salt.
