There’s a mix of menu options from breakfast boxes, salads, and wraps, to the more usual offerings like baguettes, sandwiches, pastries and fruit. The range also includes options for vegetarians and vegans so it’s a simple solution to the perfect meeting menu, especially when the graphic designer gives you a list of her food intolerances beforehand.
Benugo invited us to take a complimentary delivery one lunchtime and who could refuse?
To follow and to drink we had fresh strawberries and lime pots some watermelon agua fresca, iced teas and a strawberry blush smoothie
I find the cross section view of Benugo wraps amusing, it’s like one of those old encyclopaedia illustrations of the earth’s crust, you can see every single layer. The Bengal chicken wraps were popular with all and I liked the clean simplicity of the cheddar baguette and the good, non acidic, chutney while the wholefoods salad was surprisingly filling for a healthy option.
Some of us found the lime and the strawberries a bit of a clash taste wise, but that was not everyone’s verdict and the pots soon emptied.
Yes forget the curled up sandwiches, call a lunchtime meeting now.
Benugo delivery service is available Monday-Fridays with free delivery, www.benugo.com/delivery. There is a minimum order of £30 per order.
