A new, exciting partnership brings together Atis’s passion for nourishing, plant-forward cuisine with Wahaca’s vibrant Mexican street food spirit.
The 11-strong London-based Atis chain and Thomasina Miers, the brain behind restaurant Mexican group Wahaca, have crafted a delicious summer dish to delight the palate and champion sustainability at the same time.
Both share the same values of fresh and seasonal ingredients, bold flavours and sustainable food practices and this has led to the creation of ‘Wahaca Mexicana’.

This ‘Atis and Wahaca fusion’ brings to London a taste of Oaxacan cuisine, a region in Mexico known for its vibrant and rich food culture, and the dish is a Mexican feast on a plate at its best.
Full of goodness and flavour, the summer special includes a drooling mix of fresh and healthy ingredients, a riot of flavours and bold spices, such as Smoky Mojo-marinated Chicken, Thomasina’s own vibrant salad of Mexican Chopped Baby Spinach, Pink Slaw, Coriander and Spring Onion in a zingy Chipotle Lime Dressing.
It’s served with Blanco Niño Chipotle Tortillas for the perfect crunch. This is feel-good food, done properly, whilst
respecting the planet.
This limited-edition summer dish is just 554kcal and sells at £11. Both Atis and Thomasina Miers are passionate about sustainable and vegetable-forward cuisine, and this partnership shows the way chefs and restaurants are collaborating on unique menu items that highlight specific culinary traditions, whilst promoting sustainable
food practices at the same time.
For healthy appetites, this taste of Mexico crafted in London can be enhanced by one of the side dishes on offer, like the Smoky Elote or the Pickle Potato Salad.
Get your Mexican fix whilst it’s available during the summer as Atis and Wahaca’s latest culinary creation won’t be there forever.
