KOKUM East Dulwich hosts a one-night-only modern Indian supper club with acclaimed chef Avinash Shashidhara on Thursday 26 February at 7pm.
Chef Avi joins KOKUM co-founder Chef Sanjay Gour to present a regional Indian sharing feast inspired by Mumbai and Bangalore.

Guests are welcomed with a Mango Vodka Cocktail made with Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka, followed by sharing dishes including Chakli, Coorg pork curry, South Indian lamb meatball curry, and Malvani crab curry, served with flaky bread, garlic rice and seasonal greens. Dessert features hot jalebi with milk ice cream.
Chef Avi brings over 15 years of experience from some of the UK’s most respected kitchens. Raised in Bangalore, he developed a strong understanding of seasonal, ingredient-led cooking before working at The Park Hotel, Claude Bosi’s two Michelin-starred Hibiscus, and spending over a decade at London’s iconic River Café.
He later launched Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai and gained national recognition as a finalist on BBC’s Great British Menu, as well as appearing on BBC Saturday Kitchen.
