British Pie Week is just around the corner (2 – 8 March) and here are five of the best pies on offer in London.
From a classic Fish and Chip Pie to a Mini Pie Flight, we’ve got traditional favorites alongside pies that think a little outside the crust.
The Trafalgar:
A true example of the British pub, the pie takes centre stage at The Trafalgar this British Pie Week (2nd – 8th March 2026 ) with a limited-edition Beef Shin and Guinness Pie.

Priced at £21 and available from Monday 2nd through to Sunday 8th of March, the Beef Shin and Guinness Pie makes an exciting addition to an already impressive and extensive menu. Served with creamy mash, seasonal vegetables, and glossy gravy.
While exclusively available for British Pie Week, The Trafalgar will continue to serve up a rotation of other classic and seasonal pies such as lobster and scallop or venison and beef. Enjoyed in an impressive Grade II listed Georgian building, well-appointed with bespoke commissioned artwork and tapestries, this is an opportunity to enjoy the family-favourite pie in an elevated setting.
Pivot Bar & Bistro, Covent Garden:

To celebrate British Pie Week (2-8 March), Pivot Bar and Bistro is offering every pie-lover’s ultimate dream – a pie flight with three delicious flavours to devour. Available throughout the week, the flight includes Short Horn Beef (£8), Chicken and Mushroom (£8) and Celeriac and Lentil (£7).
You can then add a choice of toppings/accompaniments – including gravy/veggie gravy, mash, crispy onions and beef brisket. Order one, two or even three pies: see what you fancy and build the perfect plate for you. In keeping with British ‘pie and pint’ tradition, Pivot will also be offering an add-on pint for just £4.50, with the purchase of any pie.
Hoodwood, Kentish Town:
Kentish Town Caribbean takeaway joint Hoodwood from Omar Shah putting its spin on British Pie Week with a mouth-watering pie available throughout the week (2 – 8 March). Dig into a Creamy Jerk Chicken & Mushroom Patty Pie, combining Hoodwood’s signature Caribbean flair with a British filling favourite,
The pie will contain slow-cooked oak-smoked jerk chicken folded into a rich, creamy mushroom sauce, spiced with signature jerk seasoning for warmth without overpowering heat, all wrapped in Hoodwood’s patty pie pastry – a short, flaky crust made with seasoned fat and folded layers, baked until crisp on the outside and tender within. Enjoy all week with a side of mash for £14.
KOKUM:

This British Pie Week, KOKUM the acclaimed Indian restaurant in East Dulwich, will be offering its own Indian twist on the traditional British dish. For the whole week, KOKUM will be adding a special Chicken Madras Pie to their snacks menu, filled with chicken cooked in a classic South Indian style with spices and curry leaves encased in golden pastry. The pie will cost just £7 throughout the week.
The Mayfair Chippy:

Sticking to what it does best this British Pie Week, The Mayfair Chippy will be offering a mouthwatering ‘Mayfair Classic Fish & Chip Pie’ for guests to dig into, continuing its signature approach of combining time-honoured tradition with a touch of innovative flair.
This indulgent open pie will feature a generous grilled haddock fillet, crispy battered wally, curried scraps, mushy peas and rich HP gravy, bringing together all the comforting flavours of a classic chippy favourite in one standout dish. Available from 2 – 8 March at both the Knightsbridge and Mayfair locations, the pie will be priced at £26.50 and give diners the perfect excuse to celebrate British Pie Week in true Mayfair Chippy style.
