Fazenda Bishopsgate has a new series of premium Wagyu & Whisky tastings starting on 24th June
South-American restaurant Fazenda Bishopsgate is launching a series of Wagyu & Whisky tasting events, with the first taking place on Tuesday 24th June in collaboration with critically acclaimed Scottish whisky Ardbeg.
Wagyu and Whisky will take place in Fazenda’s modern ground-floor bar, Fino – a destination for South American inspired cocktails and Brazilian small plates.

Guests will be served a menu, including dishes such as; Wagyu Croquette; Egg Yolk and Wagyu; and the Wagyu cecina. To complement these, guests will also receive a welcome cocktail made with the Ardbeg Wee Beastie.
Diners will then enjoy the Australian Flat Iron Wagyu BMS 7-8 Steak Tartar paired with Ardbeg 10 year old. Following this, the Australian NY Wagyu Sirloin BMS 9+ Mini Skewer, paired with Ardbeg Uigeadail.
To finish the tasting, guests will be served the Japanese Wagyu Fillet BMS 11-12, where they will cook this themselves on a cooker, paired with the Ardbeg 19 years old Traigh Bhan.
Throughout the tasting, guests will be guided by an Ardbeg whisky expert, as well as talked through the dishes by Fazenda Bishopsgate head chef Francisco Martinez, creating a fun and interactive experience for all. There will also be a surprise gift at the end of the tasting.
Ardbeg is an Islay distillery celebrated for its heavily peated single malt Scotch whiskies. Established in 1815, Ardbeg has become a favourite among whisky enthusiasts worldwide. Its whiskies are characterised by bold, smoky flavors with complex profiles.
Translating to ‘refined’, Fino features leather furnishings and walnut panelled walls.
