London is set to welcome a brand-new dining experience this spring, as the first UK location of Hell’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay prepares to open its doors on Thursday 2 April.

Launching just before the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the arrival adds a timely highlight to the city’s seasonal lineup of things to do.

Situated within The Cumberland Hotel, only moments from Hyde Park, the restaurant introduces one of Ramsay’s most famous international concepts to the capital for the very first time. Already established in destinations such as Las Vegas, Miami and Ibiza, the venue aims to brinbg the energy of the globally recognised brand — inspired by the hit television series — to London diners and visitors alike.

A massive 7,500 square feet, the restaurant is built around a central open kitchen, allowing guests to watch chefs in action as they prepare dishes right in front of them. Staff will wear the show’s signature red and blue bandanas, while dramatic flames, bold tiling and live cooking theatrics echo the atmosphere of the TV series.

Music from resident DJs will play from daytime through to late evening. With seating for over 200 guests, alongside four chef’s tables and a dedicated bar area, the space is designed to feel lively, immersive and high-energy.

The menu combines well-known favourites from Hell’s Kitchen locations worldwide with dishes created specifically for the London opening. Lunchtime options feature items such as the famous “Idiot Sandwich” — a rich short rib creation popularised by the show — as well as the Hell’s Kitchen Burger, lobster rolls and freshly made pizzas topped with bold, spicy flavours.

For the first time in any Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, guests in London will also be able to enjoy premium sharing cuts, including a 1.2kg Wagyu tomahawk, bone-in striploin and chateaubriand.

Signature dishes remain a central focus, from the deeply flavoured lobster risotto to the iconic Beef Wellington, a staple that has become synonymous with the brand.

To finish, desserts include options like sticky toffee pudding and an apple butterscotch cheesecake, offering a creative take on a classic favourite.
