Popular Polish vodka Sobieski has created three deadly yet delicious cocktails which pay homage to horror’s most iconic movie villains.
The brand’s mixologist Ryan Way took inspiration from three cinematic cult classics – IT, Candyman and Silence of the Lambs.
Simple to make at home, each cocktail uses 100% rye Polish Sobieski vodka, which blends perfectly with a whole host of weird and wonderful ingredients.
The Hannibal Lecter cocktail uses a ‘nice chianti’ to balance its rich fruity flavour, whilst The Candyman’s has sweet honey notes. And for those who fancy a taste of the big top, The Pennywise candyfloss creation will ensure all your guests are talking about ‘IT’.
Sobieski is named after the 17th century Polish King and soldier, Jan III Sobieski, and epitomises Polish craftsmanship and authenticity. The combination of rye and crystal-clear spring water gives the vodka its subtle aroma of matured Polish grain and its silky, smooth, delicate taste. Bottled at 37.5% ABV, its purity makes it perfect for cocktails or sipped on its own.
Packaged in striking red and silver with a RRP of £17 for a 70cl bottle or £23 for 100cl.
Sobieski is available in Morrisons stores nationwide and specialist retailers. All cocktail ingredients are readily available at UK supermarkets.
