Vintage 2025 Ormarine’s Cuvée Estela

An elevated expression of Picpoul, Cuvée Estela is perfect for golden late summer evenings, its richer texture and more complex style pairs with a broader range of food options from cheese to grilled fish and white meat in sauce or cuttlefish.

Produced in the heart of the Picpoul de Pinet appellation in coastal vineyards overlooking the beautiful Étang de Thau (Thau Lagoon) and the Mediterranean, Ormarine has become synonymous with quality Picpoul.

Unlike classic Picpoul, Cuvée Estela is aged for a minimum of 6 months on its lees – the spent yeast cells left behind after fermentation enhance the wine’s texture and complexity while retaining the natural signature freshness which Picpoul is known for.

The result is a Picpoul with greater weight, a richer mouthfeel and aromatic layers of ripe nectarine, citrus and acacia blossom, complemented by subtle savoury notes and a long, mineral finish.

RRP: £15.50 per bottle or £14 mix of six.

Ormarine Villemarin Picpoul de Pinet 2025

A classic example of Picpoul de Pinet, this is the go-to summer white wine from the Languedoc. Villemarin is made from 100% Piquepoul Blanc grapes grown right beside the Étang de Thau, a saltwater lagoon that follows the Med from Montpellier to Béziers.

Cooling sea breezes preserve freshness in the summer heat and even add a subtle salty taste in the finished wines, making it an excellent accompaniment to the oysters that thrive in the neighbouring lagoon.

As well as seafood, fish and even a fresh goat’s cheese salad. It’s a crisp and zingy with lovely notes of minerality, white flowers, lemon and grapefruit.

Ormarine Villemarin is proud to be the only major Picpoul producer to be Terra Vitis certified sustainable and it’s now available in a new light-weight bottle, perfect for eco-conscious drinkers.

RRP: £12.50 per bottle or £9 mix six
