This October, ALFI the independent Italian restaurant in famed for pizzas, is turning its attention to another Italian staple: pasta, pasta and more pasta.

To celebrate Pasta Month this October and National Pasta Day on Saturday 17 October, ALFI is inviting Londoners to roll up their sleeves, grab a glass of prosecco and join its team for a whistle-stop tour around Italy, one pasta shape at a time.

And there’s no need to be a pasta pro. The classes are designed for beginners and experienced cooks alike. Guests simply need to bring themselves, an appetite and a willingness to get their hands a little floury.

ALFI has also launched its Pasta Passport: one ticket giving pasta lovers access to all five classes throughout October, travelling from Emilia-Romagna to Tuscany, Sicily, Amalfi and finally Capri, with many different pasta shapes to master at every stop.

Five destinations. Nine pasta shapes.
