Known for their superb quality kitchenware, ZWILLING have a new range, ZWILLING MORE. Chloe gets them on the hob to find out more.
Having been making kitchenware since 1731, ZWILLING are renowned for knowing their way around a kitchen. The new 5 Piece 8/10 Stainless Steel Pot Set – still premium, but aptly aimed at home-cooks – is a joy to cook with, as well as looking very sleek and stylish in a kitchen too.

When we used the pans and pots for relatively simple things like pasta, noodles, etc., it was a resounding success. The new collection kept the water hot for a long period, even when timings had gone array and cooking had to be paused, and everything was still cooked evenly.
For more complex elements like sauces, stocks, curries, and stews, etc., I’ll admit, I have always been a bit worried about the sticking factor with steel pans. However, this wasn’t an issue with these and all came out beautifully.
For example, with a Southern Indian curry, the initial dry spices didn’t stick to the bottom, nor did the onion, garlic or ginger. When cooking the sauce was easy to stir and came away from the sides. When adding the mushrooms, I was worried we might have bits attaching to the hot walls of the pots and subsequently burning. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case and as they say, it felt very intuitive.
Having used this set for almost every meal for different groups, from an intimate twosome to a bigger group of 6+, is a testament to its versatility and adaptability. And in a setting where everyone can see the hob, it’s all without the need for the usual hodgepodge of different pans of varying colours, all from different sets. All very useful.
There are plenty of other ‘easy care’ features that make the collection ideal for home cooks and kitchens.
The design allows for easy stacking, which saves space in any kitchen.
The lids rest on the pots in an upright position, meaning when stirring or checking something I didn’t need to find extra surface space to put them on, which is actually surprisingly useful. The flat lid design also doubles as a rest for utensils.
The Sigma Classic + base multi-layer sandwich design with aluminium core allows for optimal heat distribution and retention.
Plus, the pots are suitable for all hob types including induction, electric and, as we used them, gas. So, good in almost any home.
Coming in a variety of sizes – 16, 20, 22 and 24cm stock pots and a 18cm saucepan – this five-piece set allows you to cook for different groups. The ebb and flow of my week meant going from cooking for two to the full family, having a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes on the go at once. Luckily, the variety of sizes available (coupled with varying hob sizes) meant this was easily doable.
With an RRP of £449 for this set of five, they are not cheap. But, for versatile, high-quality cook wear that feels good to use, then look no further than the ZWILLING sets.
