An intimate evening of exceptional seafood, celebrated Champagne and panoramic views of London awaits at Fenchurch this September, as the restaurant welcomes just 16 guests for a one-night-only Ruinart dinner.
On Wednesday 23 September 2026, Fenchurch, perched 37 storeys above the City at Sky Garden, will host an exclusive evening dedicated to the artistry of seafood and Champagne. Chef de Cuisine Kerth Gumbs has created a five-course menu that brings together his vibrant, modern Caribbean cooking with a carefully curated selection of Champagnes from Ruinart, one of the world’s most celebrated Champagne houses.
The evening will be hosted by LVMH Champagne Ambassador Jacqueline Kobald and Alex Pastrav, Group Head of Wine at Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, who will take guests on a journey through five distinctive Ruinart cuvées, sharing the stories, character and craftsmanship behind each pairing.
Guests will arrive at 6.30pm for Champagne and canapés on the Fenchurch terrace, taking in sweeping views across London as the sun begins to set. From 7pm, the evening moves into the restaurant’s private dining room, where the five-course experience begins.
the dinner begins with cured trout and tuna with watermelon radish, green mango, citrus ponzu and roe, served alongside sweet potato milk bread with XO butter paired with Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. A playful Dover sole fish finger follows with spring onion and lobster mashed potato follows matched with Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2013, before sea bass with cucumber spaghetti, bronze fennel, squid ink and calamansi is paired with the multiple gold medal-winning Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009.
The evening concludes with a strawberry and cream dessert bringing together elderflower jelly, pickled fennel, white chocolate and strawberry sorbet, accompanied by Ruinart Rosé.
With only 16 places around the table, the dinner offers a rare opportunity to experience some of Ruinart’s most distinguished Champagnes combined with stunning seafood and spectacular views of the London skyline.
The Ruinart Champagne Dinner at Fenchurch takes place on Wednesday 23 September is priced at £150 per person and includes a Champagne reception with canapes and a five-course menu expertly paired with selected Ruinart Champagne.
