Such as Pancho Datos. Mexican folklore told the tale of a man – a rebel, a dreamer, a poet. He believed in freedom, in a time of authoritarian rule.

A wandering troubadour, who used his songs and poetry to express political dissent, rallying against dictatorship and advocating for democracy.
This is the tale of Pancho Datos, written by Ricardo Grijalva in 1947.
It was from this story that Tequila Pancho Datos was born, a bold and as characterful as the man and the land that inspired it.
Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown to maturity in the lowland valleys in El Arenal Jalisco, this mineral-rich terroir produces bold tequilas with a distinctive savoury profile, balancing freshness with depth.
Tequila Pancho Datos offers two expressions: Plata and Reposado. Plata offers an unadulterated taste of agave, with smooth, herbal, slightly sweet, peppery notes with an icing sugar finish.
The Reposado tequila has been rested in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for ten months, here you’ll discover layers of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and roasted agave, complex but perfectly balanced.
Recognised for its excellence, the Reposado expression was awarded Gold Outstanding and an impressive 98 points at the prestigious 2025 International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), placing it among the world’s best tequilas by Forbes.
