As spring awakens across Hyde Park and London bursts into colour, Royal Lancaster London welcomes the season with its Spring Blooming Afternoon Tea, launching today and available throughout the spring months.

Putting a fresh spin on the city’s beloved British tradition, this seasonal tea captures the vibrant hues, aromas, and flavours of the new season.
Inspired by British flora and pollinators, and crafted in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, the menu layers delicate savouries, warm scones, and whimsical sweet treats with botanical charm and carefully balanced flavour pairings.
Highlights include:
- Savoury bites: Roast maize-fed chicken with bee pollen and tarragon mayonnaise finger sandwiches, Maldon-cured smoked salmon with cream cheese and dill on wholemeal bread, and heritage tomato with buffalo mozzarella and basil pesto on white bread
- Warm scones: Served with clotted cream and homemade preserves
- Sweet creations: Spring-inspired treats such as rhubarb trifle, violet cheesecake, and delicate citrus
