This summer, Babur, South East London’s award-winning Indian restaurant, is turning up the heat for National BBQ Week.

In an unprecedented collaboration, Babur is teaming up with their neighbours, Brick Brewery, to serve a limited-edition BBQ menu paired with Brick’s exceptional craft beers from 3-9th June. 

The chefs will have the smoker fired up outside and serve a flamed feast. Highlights include: 

Maharashtrian tandoori spiced grilled wild seabass, paired with Brick Brewery’s Peckham Rye Pilsner 

Achari Chicken Wings with smoked garlic yogurt paired with Brick Brewery’s Peckham Rye Pale Ale 

Afghani lamb Seekh kebab with mixed peppers and pickled onion paired with Brick Brewery’s Peckham Rye Pale Ale 

On Thursday, 6th June, Brick Brewery’s founder, Ian Stewart, will host a ‘Beer Brewers’ supper club at Babur, competing with a five-course tasting menu with Brick Brewery beer pairings. Throughout the evening, Ian will explain the tasting notes of the beers and offer insights into the art of beer pairing.
