Rising culinary star Adam Rawson will host a freshly-foraged seasonal supperclub this Friday 4th November. The YBFs 2015 Chef of the Year is teaming up with expert forager Anton Petrov for a gastronomic adventure around the countryside this week, promising their guests a one-of-a-kind seven course tasting menu celebrating the freshest handpicked Autumn produce from Britain’s forests, marshes and seaside.

In preparation for Friday’s foraged feast, Adam and Anton have already pickled and preserved a few top quality ingredients, including hen of the woods mushrooms and seablite capers.

Whilst the talented duo have an array of innovative dishes in mind for this new popup, they must let nature guide the final elements of their menu creation so the full seven course vegetarian meal will be kept a surprise until the night.

Adam and Anton will be seeking out seasonal delights such as wild mushrooms, wet walnuts, geisha quince, wood sorrel, rosehips and nasturtium as they explore the marshes and forests, to showcase in a modern and inventive way alongside baby seaweed, sea beets and other wonders from the waters.

The pair will document their discoveries on their Instagram accounts during their expedition, to give diners a sneak preview of what’s in store at this exclusive seasonal supper.

Friday’s freshly-foraged feast will take place at Vagabond Coffee close to Highbury and Islington tube station, and tickets should be booked in advance via Grub Club. There will also be a carefully-curated lineup of wines from Northern Italy, Croatia and France available to accompany Adam and Anton’s vegetarian dinner, and the full tasting menu can be made vegan on request.

Adam Rawson’s foraged feast will take place on Friday 4th November from 7:30pm until 10:30pm, at Vagabond Coffee (105 Holloway Road, London, N7 8LT). Tickets cost £38.50 per person and should be booked in advance via Grub Club: http://bit.ly/adamrawson_foragedfeast
