As the winter nights draw in, Brixton Jamm is transforming its new pop up space to the rear of the building into a cosy, fully covered and heated area fit to host a series of Oktoberfest events on consecutive Saturdays – 6th, 13th and 20th October.

mcith_brixtonrooftop-33-of-150-optimisedThe team behind Brixton Rooftop and Brixton Jamm have unveiled the return of their’Brixton Oktoberfest’ event.

It returns to a new home and is offering an alternative experience to those who are looking for a bit more bite to their bratwurst. Taking their influences from the underground beats of Berlin, this is a side step from the traditional knee slapping shenanigans, but still offering all you would want from a Bavarian based night out.

Boasting the biggest selection of stein served beverages south of the river and no Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without a hand-picked variety of craft beers. For those who think beer is a bore, steins of cocktails or prosecco are also on offer. For a premium experience, a limited number of pre-bookable tables are available to secure in advance.

Familiar faces return to serve up culinary treats with their own individual take on Bavarian classics, such as Herman Ze German with their range of wurst and Freewheelin’ pizza.

Once on the roof, guests are invited to try their luck with the in-house bouncer to enter into “das glückliche Zimmer” — a truly twisted Berlin-themed experience.

The team will host a multitude of events and experiences over the course of the weekends. For those wanting to get involved, there will be a hosted program of Bavarian style games,

Bavaria meets Berlin in the heart of Brixton.
