Berners Tavern at The London EDITION has announced a series of supplier-led dinners.

mcith_berners.jpgHosted in the restaurant’s private dining room, the feasts will showcase the independent British producers at the heart of the restaurant’s seasonal offering.

Starting on the 24thSeptember with Cornwall-based Flying Fish Seafood these intimate gatherings will offer a unique, informal and educational experience for food lovers. 

Purveyors of meat and poultry to the Royal household, Campbell Brothers, will host an evening on the 8th October, shorty followed by acclaimed Scottish game suppliers, Braehead Foods on the 22nd October.

The four-course Chef’s Menus, devised by Berners Tavern’s Executive Chef Phil Carmichael exclusively for the night, will highlight the finest ingredients from each of the suppliers, with the experts on hand to guide diners through the menu

Phil says, “We feel strongly about working with ethical and sustainable suppliers, which in turn, ensures the produce that we use is of the best quality. We have great relationships with these producers and sometimes we think they don’t get enough of the limelight”

Spaces for the Supplier Dinners at Berners Tavern are limited to 10 guests and priced at £85 per person for food. Guests will also have the option of adding a paired wine flight to match curated by Wine Director, Matteo Montone, at an additional cost.
