London Bridge’s American seafood restaurant, BOB’s Lobster has a brand-new Head Chef Michele Menconi (formally Il Baretto, The Royal Exchange, Patty & Bun and Honest Burgers) as well as a new menu devised alongside BOB’s Lobster founder Rob Dann.
Situated in an historic, revamped railway arch in the heart of London Bridge, 60-cover BOB’s Lobster is a fun take on diner-style American seafood dishes, all set in a dining room that combines 1950’s Americana with the elements of the iconic Oyster Bar at Grand Central Station.
Using only the very best quality local ingredients, Native lobster from the south coast and the Shetlands, the new menu features from the “Bar Snacks” section Salt & pepper calamari, Buffalo shrimp, Crab spring rolls, Tuna Tacos, Cajun mussels with chorizo and Slow cooked pork belly with roasted pineapple and chilli salsa, Oysters are £3 each or £15 for 6.
From the “Surf and Turf” section there is the Lobster cheeseburger, as well as Crab or heart of palm tacos,
Whole or half Lobsters, in vanilla, white wine and herb butter with proper French fries, 24-hour slow cooked beef short rib, pickled onion & elote corn succotash and their celebrated Lobster & crayfish roll.
Add on a side of Mussel & bacon fries, 3 cheese mac “n” cheese or Mexican style street corn with lime crema and parmesan.
Thanksgiving 2021
With Thanksgiving just around the corner on Thursday 25th November, BOB’s Lobster has a BOB’s Family Style Thanksgiving menu that is £45 per person and for a minimum of 6 people.
Dishes feature, Smoked salmon blinis, Pigs in blankets, Maldon oysters, Crayfish croquettes, Shrimp cocktail, Native lobster, Seared scallops, Rib of beef, Truffle macaroni cheese, Roast Cod and of course Roast Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings.
There is also Pecan pie, Chocolate hazelnut brownie, New York cheesecake and a Cheeseboard with a selection of well-chosen specimens from Borough Market, the ultimate feast and ideal for a big group of friends and family.
