Bukowski Grill opens today, a flagship, 70-cover, all-day restaurant and bar situated in the heart of Soho at 10 D’arblay Street and the third venue from Chef/ Owner/ Designer Robin Freeman.
Inspired by an American diner, Bukowski Grill showcases British produce cooked over charcoal in a josper oven as well as their signature range of hamburgers with toppings such as Morbier cheese, pickled red cabbage and chilli pickled Brussels sprouts and in-house-made condiments
Bukowski Soho is open all day and features a larger range of dishes than its predecessors, weekly changing blackboard specials, weekday breakfasts and a new weekend brunch.
The new menu kicks off with Pork Nuggets with kimchi remoulade, Buffalo cauliflower fritters with blue cheese sauce and Reuben hash. Larger plates include BBQ bean cassoulet with smoked Toulouse sausage and confit duck leg, Swaledale lamb cutlets with smokey chilli jelly or Deep-fried cream cracker coated smoked haddock with clam chowder.
Follow that with The Smokey Beast, a beef pattie topped with tobacco onions, smoked pulled pork, smokey honey & chipotle BBQ sauce, smoked gherkins & garlic and scotch bonnet mayo. There is also a good selection of BBQ ribs, slow cooked beef and pork dishes, BBQ and fried chicken wings.
Typical brunch dishes include Cornmeal-crusted soft shell crab, poached eggs and hot sauce Hollandaise or Chicken, waffles, fried eggs and chilli maple syrup, perfect alongside a breakfast Margarita, a Darjeeling gin sour or two or a few bespoke Bloody Mary’s.
