He’ll be transforming the menu with his contemporary take on seasonal British food and continuing his work at his critically acclaimed restaurant etch. in Hove.

Steven won MasterChef: The Professionals, at the tender age of 26 and then worked closely with some of the UK’s leading chefs.

Steven created etch touring the concept in pop ups before eventually opening his first restaurant in Hove in March 2017.

Since then, etch. has continued to thrive with an amazing 3 AA Rosettes, a Michelin Plate award and 5 star reviews in the national press.

With Steven’s new involvement at the Riverhouse, guests will be able to enjoy his innovative use of seasonal ingredients and in a departure from the offer at etch, the menus will be à la carte.

Of this new project, Steven explained “I’m really pleased that we’re taking our next step into London by collaborating with Bingham Riverhouse. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved in Hove so far, and with so much more to come there, this feels like the right way to continue to grow our portfolio.”

Following the Bingham’s transformation at the beginning of 2019, Steven joins Bingham Riverhouse at the perfect time as it continues to evolve.

Bingham Riverhouse’s Manager Erick Kervaon adds, “we’re very excited about collaborating with Steven. Since our days together at South Lodge over ten years ago, we’ve always tried to find ways to work together and he’s taken over the kitchen at the Bingham as a guest chef a few times in the past.

His dish innovation and eye-popping presentation is inspiring and we see a great fit with this and the next chapter of Bingham Riverhouse”.
