This Veganuary, Comptoir Libanais are celebrating by launching a special Lebanese Feast menu offering a variety of colourful and tasty vegan dishes.

mcith_Picture1.jpgThe menu will be available throughout January at all Comptoir Libanais restaurants for the wallet friendly price of £12.95.

Perfect for those hoping to get 2019 off to a healthy start, the vegan feast is a feel good and healthy menu as well as being great value.  Guests will enjoy two starters, a main and a dessert for £12.95 per person.

The healthy and guilt free dishes include a mezze selection of Red Peppers Hommos – Smooth chickpea puree with tahina and red peppers, virgin olive oil, served with pita bread and a Quinoa Tabbouleh – Chopped parsley, quinoa, tomatoes, mint and onions with a lemon and olive oil dressing.

For the main course, diners can enjoy either the Couscous Salad with grilled peppers, roasted squash and mixed nuts, or an Aubergine Tagine – Baked baby aubergine in a rich tomato & chickpea sauce.

For dessert there is a Coconut Mouhalabia and Mixed Dried Fruit – A traditional Lebanese milk pudding made using coconut milk and topped with toasted pistachios.

While vegan, there is no compromising on flavour with Lebanese food lending itself well to veganism as a lot of dishes are already based around fresh vegetables, herbs and chickpeas.
