From September, all wine at COYA Angel Court will now be available at 50% of the usual price during Monday dinner service.

mcith_coya.jpgThis initiative is launching alongside the monthly wine tastings that are already popular at COYA Angel Court, taking place in the private dining room on the first Monday of every month.

Guests booking for the monthly tasting will be guided through the history of grape varieties and regions while learning how to identify the unique tasting notes specific to that wine. Each session is curated by invited guest speakers or COYA’s Wine Buyer, Nobuko Okamura, and is focused around a particular region, producer or theme, allowing for a more in-depth and fun experience.

Forthcoming tastings include October’s’Wines of Portugal’ or the’Malbec Journey’ available in November. Country-specific tasting events also feature on the schedule, allowing guests to sample an array of different wines available within Portugal, for example. COYA provides a fresh approach to wine tasting that not only includes French wines, but also new world counterparts that can be just as delicious.

Nobuko Okamura, who qualified at Université du Vin, has several years’ experience in wine. She and her wine team carefully select up to five wines that are both contrasted and complimentary in order to fully highlight the best qualities of each region or grape variety.
