Ayllu, the Japanese Peruvian restaurant in Paddington, has a new menu that balances Japanese precision with Peruvian warmth.

The refreshed dishes highlight premium ingredients, bold flavours, and fine sushi – all without the fine dining price tag.

Under the direction of Chef David Reyes, the new menu showcases elevated simplicity: hand-rolled sushi,
vibrant ceviches, and meticulously composed plates that spotlight seasonal ingredients and clean, balanced flavours.

Among the highlights are shrimp popcorn (£9) with yuzu and spicy mayo, duck anticuchero glazed in salsa
antichuchera (£20), grilled tuna with salsa roja (£24), and scallops finished with yuzu sake beurre blanc
(£11). Each dish reflects Ayllu’s focus on premium produce, careful technique, and flavour harmony.

For those after a longer dining experience, Ayllu’s tasting menus from £39pp – Cuzco, Machu Picchu and
Vegetarian – take guests on a journey through Nikkei flavours, each one rich in fresh fish, vibrant sauces, and
intricate presentation. From Bluefin tuna roll, Peruvian Beef BBQ to Salmon Cazuela.

Just steps from Paddington Station.
