Xi Home Dumplings Bay in Spitalfields is bringing a taste of Scotland to the Chinese restaurant this January, turning their weekly dumpling making class into a Burn’s Night special – on Sunday 25th January 2026.

Guests will be able to book into the dumpling making class, held from 3pm – 5pm, led by founder Wenjun and Head Chef Minnie. In this seasonal twist – dumpling fans will be learning how to make haggis dumplings!

Budding cooks will get to enjoy a whisky cocktail (included in ticket price) upon arrival, before learning about the history of dumplings in China.

Head Chef Minnie will then take guests through the dumpling making process, from making the dough to constructing the dumplings, adding the haggis filling and finally – cooking them.

The class can then dig into their dumpling creations or take them home to share with friends or family.

Xi Home’s haggis dumplings will also be available as a special in the restaurant from Sunday 25th to Saturday 31st January 2026.

The Burn’s Night dumpling class is priced at £65.71 and also includes:
