Heist Bank a new all-day hangout in Paddington will open on June 29 just off the canal in a large, light filled space and specialise in wood-fired pizza, beer and. oddly perhaps, fresh flowers.

Operating as a day to night venue, Heist Bank’s freshly made pizzas will accompanied by a wide selection of local beer, wine and cocktails.

Heist Bank will be filled with seasonal flowers, all available for purchase at its in-house artisan florist from Botanique, who launched their first flower shop on Exmouth Market in winter 2015. Meanwhile, bikes stationed outside will be available to borrow for guests to explore the canal and local area.

Shipped straight from Italy, Heist Bank’s wood burning oven will turn out a selection of pizzas featuring local cheeses, cured meats and seasonal toppings. There will also be a range of small plates on the menu including cheese curd and olive doughnuts alongside light, summery snacks such as watermelon with labneh and toasted seeds.

The menu will also feature large dishes such as slow-roasted lamb, steak and trout, all cooked to perfection in the wood burning oven. A Mr Whippy ice cream machine with grown-up toppings will take care of pudding.

Examples of the pizzas include:

Lamb, Preserved Lemon, Brockley Feta, Rocket £10

Smashed Peas, Courgette Ribbons, Mint, Rosary Goats Cheese, Pea Shoots £9

Cauliflower Cheese – Blue Murder, Brown Butter Béchamel, Cauliflower £10

With beer as a focus, Heist Bank will offer 12 local brews on draft, from the likes of Magic Rock, Beavertown and Siren, which will also be available to take out in Growlers. The cocktail list will be a ten strong menu of classics using high quality ingredients. Continuing the floral theme, beer mats and take-out pizza boxes will be illustrated with original floral designs by young British artists.

Inside the interior has a cool communal feel, with long bench seating, comfortable sofas, an Art Deco French foosball table and a specially commissioned pool table custom built by award winning artist-designer CléonDaniel.  An impressive double height installation from graffiti artist Pure Evil will be a focal feature across the venue’s two floors and walls will be adorned with canvases from Thierry Noir. A private party room in the basement for 45, will be complete with karaoke, old Nintendos and self-service beer kegs.
