Drake & Morgan’s’La Petite Provence’ is taking up temporary residence at The Folly restaurant & bar in the heart of the City.

Launching on the 18th April until the end of August, the Provençal garden-inspired pop-up features shabby chic French furniture, vintage shutters & photos of the French countryside. Set up to look like a garden pergola, La Petite Provence is abloom with lavender flowers & rosemary leaves whilst terracotta pots are filled with fragrant herbs to stimulate the senses.

Relax in the’garden’ whilst sampling some of Provence’s finest wines, ranging from the region’s famous vintage dry rosés as well as delicate whites. Guests will get the chance to meet the makers with tutored tasting sessions led by French wine specialists from Château Riotor on 10th May, Chateau Unang on 22nd of June & Domaine Montrose on 5th July. RSVP is encouraged as spaces are limited at these complimentary events.

There will also be three “La Petite Provence” packages available which will allow customers to explore the various wines on the menu. The rosé wine flight will offer customers the chance to indulge in four 75ml glasses of rosé wine, including a glass of Domaine Montrose Rosé and Château Riotor, Provence Rosé for £9.95.

Alternatively, choose from three small glasses of wine and matching’petite’ plates, priced at £9.95 with combinations including Rolle Château Riotor, Côtes de Provence – a crisp white wine paired with a rich black olive tapenade, or Chateau Unang, La Source – a silky red perfectly paired with French cheese.

The sensory tasting experience, priced at £18.95 will allow guests to try a selection of wines whilst blindfolded to encourage them to identify the different flavours within a single glass. The experience can also be paired with food for £22.95.

The space can be privately booked for special parties or wine pairing sessions and bespoke packages can be created to meet exact requirements.
