To celebrate the welcome arrival of Summer, award-winning independent restaurant The Lido Cafe is launching a new Dinner menu at its poolside space in Brockwell Park.

Running every week from Wednesday through to Saturday, the new evening dishes showcase the best seasonal produce served in a modern British style, with an extra splash of inspiration from around the world. Coupled with cocktails and a relaxing setting, the new night-time dining offers the chance to escape to an exotic oasis without leaving London.

Guests dining at The Lido Cafe in the evenings this Summer can choose from a four course menu, filled with the season’s British produce. Light bites like locally-baked sourdough bread with cold pressed rapeseed oil and dukka, and small plates such as homemade beetroot-cured Severn and Wye smoked salmon are ideal for sharing al fresco.

Summer Specials will change frequently – kicking off with crab from day boats off the South Coast, served with sourdough bread, salted butter, and mayonnaise. There will also be a different limited edition monthly scotch egg, starting with July’s “Black Watch” free-range egg encased in a mix of Stornaway black pudding and Old Spot pork mince and coated in Panko breadcrumbs, accompanied by sweet roasted garlic aioli.

For dessert, diners can take their pick from treats such as a passionfruit and mango mess, as well as a selection of artisan gelato and sorbets by the team’s expert friends at Gelupo in Soho, with regularly rotating flavours like strawberries and cream, brazil nut, and cherry.

The Lido Cafe is also introducing an updated lineup of cocktails too.
