MEATliquor launch multi-bird Michelin starred X-Mas burger in collaboration with Tom Kerridge and £1 from each sale goes to Hospitality Action: www.hospitalityaction.org.uk/

MEATliquor have today unveiled the Burgducken, an entire five-bird festive roast in a bun created in collaboration with Michelin Starred chef Tom Kerridge.

Inspired by the festive multi-bird’Turducken’, Kerridge’s creation utilises the time-honoured technique of cooking festive farm and game birds of increasing size one inside another, utilising the best meat from each to create a classic MEATliquor style patty.

Available from the 27th November at King’s Cross and from all other MEATliquor’s from the 4th December, the Burgducken combines turkey, duck, chicken, pigeon and pheasant. The minced breast and leg meats are combined together with pork belly, styled into a handmade patty and stacked on the classic MEATliquor style burger bun.

Topped with a specially created punch brandy and cranberry mayonnaise and festive Brussel sprout coleslaw – developed Luke Beardsdhaw, Head Chef at Kerridge owned The Coach in Marlow – the festive meat feast is all combined by MEATLiquor’s secret XXXmas Pudding Ketchup.

What’s more, for added Christmas dinner indulgence, pig-in-blankets add a further layer to the Burgducken.

Scott Collins, co-founder of MEATliquor, says: “The Turducken is the ultimate meat feast and we thought it only right to put a MEATliquor spin on a carnivorous classic. Like a delicious set of edible meaty Russian dolls, the Burgducken has been born out of months of close collaboration with Tom, Luke and the team in Marlow. We’ve worked to refine and redefine an entire Christmas dinner in a bun.”

Tom Kerridge says: “Who doesn’t love a burger?! Who doesn’t love Christmas?! If you don’t love burgers, and don’t love Christmas, I think that makes you a Christmas burger Grinch, or is that a Burgrinch. However, if you do love burgers and Christmas, get on this! It’s the Burgducken, lush!”

Burgducken is available at MEATliquor King’s Cross from Monday 27th November and from all additional MEATliquor’s from 4th December. Priced at £12.50,
