The US Asian restaurant is bringing a fresh gastronomic feast to Great Newport Street this August
This August, P. F. Chang’s will launch a brand new P.F. Chang’s Asian Table restaurant concept in London’s West End.
The 138 seat all-day restaurant and bar will offer a spin on London’s brunch offering by combining traditional brunch dishes with an Asian kick. The dish ‘Everything Bao’ will include sliced smoked salmon and boiled egg nestled in a honey lotus bun with basil horseradish. A lux version of brunch favourite Lobster Benedict is a toasted muffin topped with creamy herb lobster mix, poached egg and house-made hollandaise.
Post brunch food options offer both smaller and bigger plates from lunch through to dinner – Mongolian Beef, a soy glazed flank steak wok-seared with spring onions and garlic, Orange Peel Lamb Chop, the Original Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Dynamite Shrimp. Fish and Lotus’Chips’ – a crispy black cod dish, has fish tossed with spring onion, ginger, fermented black bean and a side of lotus chips.
The menu will be cooked by Deepak Kotian, a former chef from Nobu. Guests can also enjoy an up close culinary experience sitting at the non-bookable Chef’s Table, with both booth and table seating throughout the restaurant.
With a philosophy of sourcing locally and only using real and whole ingredients, the menu at P.F. Chang’s Asian Table will even showcase the specific farms where meat was sourced. With an in-house bakery, all dumplings, wontons, and egg rolls will be also be hand-made daily by experts, including chefs producing bespoke Asian inspired desserts especially for customers.
The restaurant will be taking bookings from August 4th. Visit pfchangs.co.uk for details.
