Rotunda Bar and Restaurant, nestled in the vibrant heart of King’s Cross, has now opened its redesigned terrace space in partnership with Gattertop Drinks Co.
In time for the arrival of the sunshine in London, Rotunda‘s alfresco terrace has been transformed into a foliage-filled quiet space alongside the Regents Canal.
The new setting is a collaboration inspired by the best of the English countryside designed to bring a breath of rural air into the city.

It’s a vibrant orchard-inspired outdoor space full of wildflowers, with touches highlighting the synergy between the two brands as each has its own farm.
Features include bunting, a selfie mirror, milk-churns and even a bug hotel to embrace to fully embrace nature.
The terrace is great for post-work drinks, dinner, intimate gatherings, or larger events, Rotunda’s alfresco space is set to be a go-to destination this summer.
The terrace and bar menu is created in proud partnership with Gattertop Drinks Co, a Herefordshire-based distillery celebrated for its orchard-inspired, sustainably crafted spirits.
Guests can enjoy a curated selection of cocktails using Gattertop’s botanical vodkas and liqueurs, alongside off-the-beaten-track wines and draught beers.
The real showstoppers are the cocktails. Rotunda’s bar team have designed an inventive list that blends taste and eco-consciousness, from surplus fruit syrups to repurposed herb trimmings.
This summer’s cocktails include:

- – ‘Damson & Elderflower Spritz’ – Gattertop No.12 Damson Vodka, Elderflower Liqueur, Lime, Cutting Board Syrup, Prosecco, Damson Dust
- – ‘Wild Strawberry Negroni’ – Gattertop Botanical No.7, Aperitivo Liqueur, Wild Strawberry Chamberyzette, Orange Mist, Chocolate Pig
- – ‘Pink Blossom Collins’ – Amazzoni Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Green Chatreuse, Strawberry & Mint, Lime, Classic Foreva Farmers Tonic, Rose Petal
Rotunda Terrace offers a bottomless cocktail experience with any brunch, main or roast dish. Sip on free-flowing ‘Damson & Elderflower Spritz’ and ‘Pink Blossom Collins’ for just £25 for 90 minutes, available weekends 11am-4pm.
The food menu at Rotunda champions gate-to-plate concept, with all beef and lamb sourced directly from Rotunda’s own Corneyside Farm in Matfen, Northumberland. These premium cuts are aged on-site in King’s Cross, making the steaks and sharing joints true highlights.
A re-purposed horsebox has also taken up residence on the terrace and will be serving a summer menu of buns filled with slow-cooked beef and lamb from the Corneyside Farm.

Menu items include ‘Corneyside Farm lamb shoulder, sumac, sheep’s milk labneh, apricot chutney, mint and lemon’ and ‘Corneyside Farm smoked short rib, bone marrow mayonnaise, mustard, pickled shallot, watercress’.
The perfect accompaniment to an alfresco drink or two. The horsebox will be serving Wednesday – Friday – 4.30 – 8.30pm and Saturday – 2 – 8pm.
Rotunda also offers a choice of enviable spaces for private events, providing the perfect backdrop for birthdays, corporate events, and everything in between, from intimate gatherings in the private dining room to exclusive hires of up to 250 guests.
Groups of 18 people or more can choose from the BBQ & Grill menus. Cocktail packages and a DIY gin station also offer great additions to a summer celebration.
