On Friday 14th June, renowned chef Vivek Singh will join forces with Asma Khan of Darjeeling Express and star of Netflix’s Chef’s Table for a collaborative feast at Battersea Power Station’s London Seafood Festival.

mcith_vivek.jpgThe evening will kick off at 6pm with a screening of Asma’s acclaimed episode of Chef’s Table in Battersea Power Station’s new Archlight Cinema, where canapés of Dahi Puri (semolina shells filled with potatoes, yoghurt and tamarind chutney) and aubergine fritters with tomato chutney will be served throughout the show.

Vivek will then join Asma to share stories on their culinary careers and decade-long friendship whilst taking questions from the floor.

Following the screening, guests will take the few steps to Vivek’s notable restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen, where they will be greeted with a cocktail before indulging in a

collaborative seafood feast. Created exclusively by Vivek and Asma, the Seafood

Spectacular menu reflects their individual culinary styles and guests can expect flavoursome, expertly spiced dishes served family-style.

Tickets cost £50 per person and include a mix ofmstarters, mains and desserts. A vegetarian menu is also available.

In addition to the Seafood Spectacular collaboration dinner, Cinnamon Kitchen will be hosting a Spice & Fish masterclass on 12th June.

Kicking off at 6:30pm, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco before diving into live cooking demos from talented Group Development and Training chef Rakesh Nair.

Throughout the 1.5-hour session, Rakesh will teach guests how to combine spice with seafood and how to prepare fish using various techniques, all whilst tasting each dish along the way.

From advice on how to select the freshest fish to tips on how to get the most from your purchase with flavour and spice, this masterclass is not one to be missed.
