P.F. Chang’s Asian Table invites Londoners’ to ring in the 2019 Chinese New Year, from 5th to 25th February.
The Pan-Asian restaurant will kick off the festivities with a new, limited-edition celebratory feasting menu. Here to bring you plenty of good luck and fortune for the year ahead, P.F. Chang’s Asian Table is also giving diners the chance to win dinners for two, for a full year.
Dishes from the Chinese New Year Pan-Asian menu are handmade from scratch daily and are cooked in traditional Chinese woks at very high temperatures.
Tuck into starters such as the Sticky Pork Bao Buns (£9, two freshly steamed bao buns filled with slow-cooked pork belly, coriander, jalapenos and pickled red onion, served with a side of spicy aioli; or the Crispy Lemongrass Tofu (v) (£6.50), tofu rice balls with a crispy panko crust served on a lemongrass coconut sauce, topped with crunchy Asian veggies, crispy shallots and coconut flakes.
Chinese Pork Ribs (£11.25), slow braised, wok seared pork ribs served with a savoury Asian barbecue sauce; and Beef Nian Gao (£9.50), crispy beef with soft rice noodle cakes served with Chinese cabbage, shitake mushrooms, Bok choy, leeks, chilli, garlic and ginger with a Shanghai soy sauce.
Top off the festivities with a Five Spice Apple Dumpling (£7), a special, limited-edition dessert created in the restaurant’s own Pastry Lab, made with slowly poached apples in Chinese Five Spice, filled with creamy frangipane and cream wrapped in crispy filo pastry. The dish is served warm with rich toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.
