Wright Brothers, the seafood and oyster specialists will be reopening the doors to their Soho restaurant on Thursday 4th October.

mcith_wrightbros.pngThe restaurant has been redesigned by Macaulay Sinclair, with a fresh new look alongside newly curated food and drink menus.

The 82-cover restaurant, designed with social dining in mind, will reflect Macaulay Sinclair’s signature contemporary style. A captain’s table will seat groups of up to 8 people and the main dining room will feature a vast octopus mural on the ceiling by artist Peter Barber.

The two outdoor terraces will be heated and have green flora, lit candles and cosy blankets, creating all year round al-fresco dining. The Kingly Street terrace will seat up to 12 people enclosed by picket fencing. The Kingly Courtyard side will have new bi-folding glass doors, creating an inside out bar and the terrace, seating 40 people. It will also feature the Grey Goose Oyster Shucking Cart – perfect for oyster lovers to get their fix.

Head Chef David Jones has created a new menu which will focus on sharing and small plates with dishes such as: pan fried red mullet with an Asian slaw; Teriyaki cod collar with BBQ hispi cabbage; Cameron roja ceviche with crispy prawn heads and pork scratchings with smoked cod’s roe.

Wright Brothers classics will remain on the menu, such as their famous seafood platters and oysters, larger plates on offer will include: confit pork belly, seared scallop & kimchi cabbage.

The express lunch menu, available weekdays, will offer poké bowls and killer po’ boys (including tempura shrimp, pickled carrot & cucumber, gem lettuce,  Louis sauce).

For those looking to eat at home or at their desks, Wright Brothers are bringing WB at Home, to Soho, you will now be able to order ahead of time for collection.

The cocktail menu will have a selection of barrel-aged bottled cocktails – each a twist on some of Wright Brothers’ favourite classics such as Vieux Carré (Woodford Reserve bourbon, Courvoisier VS Cognac, Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino, Solera 1847 Oloroso Dulce, Peychaud’s bitters & peach bitters).
