alto 19 brings a new rooftop dining, drinking and socialising destination to the 19th floor of Locke London Canary Wharf. Contemporary Mediterranean cooking with panoramic views across London.

The 100-cover space makes the most of its elevated position, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping around the perimeter to frame London’s skyline.

The menu opens with snacks such as cacio e pepe gnocco fritto, rock oysters with grapefruit granita and crab fritti with aioli. Starters include bluefin tuna crudo, beef tartare with straw potato, Prosciutto di Parma with Ligurian honey melon, and vongole and Vermentino bruschetta with Amalfi lemon.

Freshly made pasta takes centre stage, with porcini agnolotti, Parmesan fonduta and black truffle alongside braised beef shin and Barolo ragù. Larger plates include heritage chicken Milanese with bitter leaves and raw fennel, grilled Iberian pork cotoletta with green figs, and monkfish al forno with shellfish brodo and olives.

Designed for sharing, signature centrepieces include traditional salt-baked branzino, dry-aged ribeye cotoletta with fried garlic gremolata, and Sicilian sweet red prawn rice with cured lardo. Desserts offer warm dark chocolate mousse with milk gelato and caramelised citrus tart with mascarpone and chestnut honey to Valpolicella red wine and blackberry soft serve.

At the bar, a cocktail list draws inspiration from the flavours and coastlines of the Mediterranean. Highlights include Ionian Tides, combining vodka, mastiha, tomato and sage with olive lemonade, and Tangier to Turin, blending grappa, sumac bitters, lemon and mint beneath a saffron and orange foam. A 200-bin wine list showcases producers from around the world, with a particular focus on Mediterranean vintners and small artisanal wineries.

With DJs, late-night cocktails and glittering city views, alto 19 is designed to evolve throughout the evening

For more private occasions, a dedicated 10-person dining room provides a setting for corporate gatherings, celebrations and special events.
