ZONIN, a family owned Italian vineyard, is bringing two proseccos to the table this Christmas and New Year.
ZONIN – one of Italy’s oldest winemaking families are serious about wine making and that’s why they have a wine for any occasion, including the festive season of course. Meet Brut DOC Millesimato and Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato.

Nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic, in the heart of Italy’s Friuli region, and ined with 999 cypress trees, which both celebrate and protect its extraordinary biodiversity, Ca’ Bolani is a centuries old estate with a winemaking legacy.
The vines have been planted in the region since Roman times, with the estate gaining recognition in 1500 when it was owned by the Ca’ Bolani family.
It was acquired by the Zonin family in 1970 who began to restore the estate, embracing the local wine culture and an ethos of sustainability.
Over the past two decades, the estate has implemented green manuring, low-environmental-impact pesticides, promotion of pollinators, and uncultivated green spaces to encourage wildlife repopulation.
Amongst those vineyards grow Glera grapes which is the sole grape variety used in making Prosecco Brut Millesimato.
The brut has an attractively intense, very well-balanced notes of Rennet apple, wisteria flowers and a delicate almond note which is so typical of Glera.

It’d a perfect aperitif, or accompaniment to canapés and light, fish or vegetarian starters.
While Zonin Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato is made with Glera and Pinot Nero grape. Making it fragrant and fruit-driven with notes of Rennet apple, soft red berries and wisteria flowers, and a hint of almond on the finish.
It pairs well as an aperitif and an ideal accompaniment to canapés, such as smoked salmon blinis.
Both are available in family-run luxury grocer, Partridges London.
