New 135-cover restaurant to open at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, with bookings now available
ROAST is expanding beyond its long-standing home at Borough Market, with the British restaurant preparing to open a second London site at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch this October.
Located on Curtain Road, ROAST Shoreditch will introduce the restaurant’s produce-led approach to East London, offering an all-day dining destination.
The 135-cover restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, alongside ROAST’s signature Sunday roast. The menu will continue the restaurant’s longstanding focus on high-quality British ingredients, sourced through relationships with farmers, growers and artisan producers.
Guests can expect familiar ROAST favourites alongside dishes developed especially for the new Shoreditch location, with the menu changing throughout the year in response to the seasons. A considered wine selection and cocktail offering will complete the food and drink programme.
The new restaurant design draws inspiration from the area’s former horticultural trade and its longstanding association with Columbia Road Flower Market.
The interiors combine decorative ironwork, botanical elements and planting with timber, marble, brass and antique mirrors, creating a space that acknowledges ROAST’s original character while establishing a distinctly East London identity.
The restaurant will incorporate a main dining room and bar, a bright orangery and a chef’s table, creating a range of settings for different occasions.
ROAST Shoreditch will open at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch in October 2026.
