‘Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrive!’ is the cry traditionally heard from bars and bistros when Beaujolais is finally released. Join Le Garrick for the world’s biggest wine party Fête du Beaujolais 2026. All day menu offers 3 courses for £37
Le Garrick marks its 40th anniversary with a very special Beaujolais Nouveau celebration.

On Thursday 19 November from 12.01pm, Le Garrick raises a glass to the arrival of the new season’s Beaujolais Nouveau – a much-anticipated fixture of the French calendar.
With 40 years of Le Garrick history to celebrate, expect a suitably festive atmosphere, great French food, plenty of Beaujolais and, of course, a few surprises along the way. Traditionally, the release cannot happen before 12.01am on the third Thursday of November, and although celebrations originate in Paris, London has welcomed this tradition, evident at Le Garrick. A huge party is always in full swing on this special day for the first pour of this wine.
BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU DAY MENU £37 for 3 courses
The 3 course menu includes a choice of dishes including Traditional French onion soup or Oeufs en meurette to start, Boeuf or Mushroom Bourguignon or Boudin Noir or Toulouse Sausage with mash, followed by Tarte au citron, Pot au chocolat or a selection of French cheeses (£5 supplement for cheese). Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2026 will be available to enjoy with your meal … or on its own! You will be able to enjoy drinking the new Beaujolais into the weekend, or until it runs out!
This cherry-red coloured wine is the result of a quick fermentation process that ends up with a tasty, clean wine that is now enjoyed all over the world. With perfect weather conditions, the expectations for this season’s Beaujolais Nouveau are high. The Gamay grapes that go into Beaujolais Nouveau are handpicked in the Beaujolais province of France. The wine actually originated about a century ago as a cheap and cheerful drink produced by locals to celebrate the end of the harvest season.
