The Mussel Men pop-up restaurant is setting sail! After many successful pop-ups in the summer of 2013, The Mussel Men have secured themselves a permanent location at 584 Kingsland Road (near Dalston Junction) from the end of May.

Their success is due to their fresh, original seafood, and Robin Dunlop (aka Captain Bob) with his friendliness. As well as taking an original, nautical spin on the traditional Sunday Roast, and creating navy inspired cocktails, he also sets up muscular related challenges to win a free T-shirt.

Robin Dunlop, the creator, used his seafood wisdom and passion to reach the finals of the British Street Food Awards in 2012. He worked on his family-owned shellfish farm in Scotland, which helped him gain the experience and knowledge he needed.

As well as weekly specials, the menu consists of meals ranging from £6-£10 for starters and £12-20 for mains plus £5 if you want a dessert.

On weekends they are open until 12am, so customers can eat, drink, and be merry into the night. On Sundays you can enjoy The Sunday’Seafood’ Roast, an alternative to the traditional meal, with platters filled seafood from the British Isles, and in summer they will have a BBQ in the garden.

Robin does his best to ensure a great night out for his customers, and uses the combination of delicious seafood, and friendly chat to keep people coming back.

Pop down to The Mussel Men this summer for an unforgettable seafood experience.
