Bottle Up – the UK’s first plant based BPA-free, pre-filled reusable water bottle is now available to buy in stores.

Bottle Up is a sustainable, plant-based, BPA-free, pre-filled reusable and recyclable water bottle. It’s everything in one! The bottles are made in Wolverhampton from sustainable sugarcane sourced from Brazilian grasslands.

The sugarcane used in Bottle Up’s bottles is a low impact crop requiring little to no fertilizer or additional irrigation.

The Bottle Ups are sturdy and durable looking bottles. They come in three colours – Stone Blue, Champaign Pink, and London Red all at 500ml, £3. They have a pretty single colour matte finish all around.

And their tube like smooth shape makes them fit perfectly into sports bag side pockets, rucksacks and even jacket and coat pockets. I normally carry a bottle of water in my coats, since my handbags are tiny, while jackets usually have sizeable pockets.

Bottle Up is sold ready filled with pure British spring water from Elmhurst in Staffordshire for minimum carbon impact. Once opened they can be refilled and reused since they are BPA-free and dishwasher safe too.

Flavour wise, I’ve tried the Elmhurst water sold in it and refilled them a few times with filtered water including keeping the water inside for a day. The water kept its taste while the bottles remained tasteless and odorless.

And if you don’t like the flavour of stainless steel bottles often add to your water this might be just the solution.

Bottle Up was founded in Amsterdam in 2019 to help fight the international single-use plastic crisis. In the UK alone it has been reported that over 7.7 billion single-use plastic water bottles are consumed every year, with water bottles making up over half of the plastic waste in the Thames.

Bottle Up’s water bottles are renewable, reusable, recyclable and affordable alternatives to grab-and-go water bottles. They offer an eco-friendly option for those busy on-the-go without the need to carry a reusable water bottle or purchase single use plastic.

Bottle Up has made strides in helping hospitality venues to become sustainable through partnerships with chains such as Accor who own the likes of Ibis, Mercure and Sofitel Hotels.

They’ve also just sold their 50,000th bottle with BP and are currently the top-selling brand on Amazon within the still water category. Bottle Up also works in partnership with clean water foundation, Made Blue, to contribute 100 litres of safe drinking water for every bottle sold.

Since 2020, Bottle Up has donated more than 64 million litres of safe drinking water to developing countries all over the world.

Bottle Up’s reusable bottles are available to buy in stores in Morrisons, The Coop, Wholefoods Market, WH Smith including travel locations, Ocado, BP and Amazon RRP £3.
