Full disclosure, my own KitchenAid has entered its twentieth year and still runs like brand new.

The Artisan Plus also has the attachment-ready Culinary Hub, which supports more than 15 optional attachments for everything from pasta making to spiralising and juicing.

Colours have been tweaked, too. Sun Dried Tomato, Oat, Mint Julep, Wild Blueberry and Iron Ore add a designery touch, but the classic colours for a more timeless look are still available
