Cocktails in the City, London’s popular summer cocktail festival, is back in Bedford Square Gardens this July with the first instalment of its 2022 Summer Series.

Taking place over three days from 7th – 9th July, the first edition of the festival will celebrate the ‘Innovation & Discovery’ found within London’s bar and cocktail scene.

During the weekend of alfresco celebrations, guests can expect world-class cocktails, live entertainment, top street food and engaging masterclasses set within the leafy gardens in Bloomsbury.

Bringing together the Capital’s most creative cocktail minds and finest mixologists in one place, guests are guaranteed to discover something new from unexpected flavour combinations and exciting new spirits to innovative new bars and their new favourite drink. 

Featuring 20 of London’s renowned bars and celebrated mixologists, the final bar line-up for July has now been revealed:

Appearing at the festival in pop-up form, each bar has partnered with an internationally renowned and respected spirit brand to create an array of creative cocktail experiences to be enjoyed in one afternoon.

From dive bars to five-star hotel bars, the July edition will feature brand-new venues such as Boiler & Company and Thin White Duke, hidden gems including Henson’s Bar and Social and Disrepute alongside internationally renowned and awarded venues such as Callooh Callay, Coupette and Laki Kane.

Festival goers will also have the chance to discover innovative brands with distinctive styles such as Engine Gin a newly launched organic Italian gin, Nc’Nean Distillery a female-owned carbon neutral organic whisky distillery and Vivir a dynamic British-owned tequila brand taking the industry by storm.

Together with the eclectic mix of bars and drinks experiences, guests at the July edition of Cocktails in the City will be able to discover dishes from around the world including Mexican gazpacho and naked burritos from Mexican maestros Café Pacifico, authentic Italian fare from Officina 00 and delicious bento boxes from yakitori and sushi specialists, Sticks N Sushi. 

In addition guests can enjoy live music curated by Hennessy Cognac, try their hand at ice carving with Ice Carving Cool and challenge their friends to a fast-paced game of shuffleboard with a cocktail in hand thanks to London Shuffle Club.

Guests can also participate in a huge silent disco guaranteed to bring the festival vibes and learn new skills with a variety of masterclasses, tastings and talks.

A contemporary mash-up between the traditional Caribbean Saoco serve and the much-loved Rum Punch featuring Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 11 Y.O alongside flavours of coconut, passionfruit, lime and apple

Cocktails in the City will continue its Summer Series with festivals in August and September. August 11th – 13th will be the ‘International Edition’ focusing on international influences and experiences and September 8th – 10th will be a ‘Festival of Drinks’, the ultimate cocktail festival and way to close out the summer.
